Car camp Friday night at clover flat rest area on the Tooma Rd. If not camping on Friday meeting Saturday 9 am at Manjar track on the Tooma Rd. ( on the way to Cabramurra) On Saturday we drive to Manjar track and walk to the Black Jack Fire Tower. Trevor's favourite mountain. He could see this mountain from his home. In Trevor's honour, after lunch we will ALL drink a cup of his favourite brew, International Roast coffee and some of the favourite chocolate, Rum and Raisons.
On Sunday we walk to Patons Hut, 6km return ,grade 3.
What to bring: bring a Mug, milk and sugar for the the best coffee according to Trevor....International Roast. There is a creek for water at the camp site.
Clover Flat is not on google map. to get there coming from Corryong towards Khancoban. Turn left on to Swampy plains Rd. (towards Cabramurra) Clover Flat is on the left side some 20 km up the rd.
For the Walk! We can drive all the way to the gate if we like and walk 1.3 km from the gate to the tower.
