Due to COVID-19 health requirements, members must provide their own sanitisers, gloves, wipes, masks, etc.  If car pooling is required please contact the event co-ordinator.

Normal social distancing rules will apply. If 1.5m cannot be maintained then a mask needs to be worn. 

THIS WILL BE A CAR POOLING EVENT and MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE WORN IN THE CAR.
 
 
 
Short car shuffle is required. It will most likely Rain!!!

Koetong is a locality in north-east Victoria, Australia. The locality, part of the Towong Shire local government area, is on the Murray Valley Highway between Tallangatta and Corryong,

Please bring lunch/snacks and sufficient water for the day

We will drop cars at Koetong Trestle Bridge . Drive to Shelley rail way station and walk back to the cars.

 
 
 
Grade 3 walk some steep up and downs
 
 
 

GRADE 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.

Day Walking

  • Current Medical Information Form FOUND ON THE WEBSITE HERE
  • Water - up to 2 litres recommended for a full day walk
  • Sunscreen
  • Gloves and hat
  • Sufficient food bearing in mind the distance and duration of the event 
  • Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable
  • Wet weather waterproofs, jacket and pants
  • Walking poles
  • Gaiters
  • Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator
  • Torch or headlamp for contingencies
