Beginners Canoeing Safety and Technique Training

Come and try it! If you've been wanting to try canoeing but need some training and help in a still water environment , here is a great opportunity to give canoeing a try. This will be the last of a series of training sessions and costs are subsidised by a grant the club received in 2012. We meet at Cumberoona Wharf Albury at 5-30 to 5-45 pm and get transported to Mungabareena from where we will learn basic paddle strokes and safety training - transport , hire of canoes, paddles and personal flotation devices are supplied by Dave Breedon the Canoe Guy from Murray River Canoe Hire at a cost of $10 per person. The session will be over by 7-30pm after which we will return to Noreuil Park in Dave's van. Please check the club's Canoeing Policy to ensure compliance with our safety regulations.
