Snowy Mountains Grade 3 backpack

The NZ trip has been replaced by an extended walk in the Snowy Mountains. This is a grade 3 extended backpack from Kiandra  to Guthega weather and enthusiasm permitting. Participants will need backpacking equipment and capacity to walk up to 6 hours a day carrying a pack. We will try to organise a food stash en route possibly at Cesjacks Hut.

day 1 Kiandra to Broken Dam hut
day 2 Broken Dam hut to Brooks hut
day 3 Brooks hut to Boobee hut
day 4 Boobee hut to Cesjacks hut
day 5 Cesjacks hut to Mawson hut
day 6 Mawson hut over the Kerries to White River Hut
day 7 White River hut to Guthega via the Rolling Ground and Mount Tait
