Hume and Hovell Track

We plan to walk the section of the Hume and Hovell track from the Glenroy Mannus Road where it crosses the H and H track (marked as Start on the map below) and Henry Angel Track head near Tumbarumba (marked as Finish on the map). The total distance is 26 km.

 

We plan to complete this over two day walks with a car camp at Mannus Lake Campsite - 8km on Saturday and 18km on Sunday.

 

Saturday walkers to meet at the Information Centre on the causeway at 8am and drive to Mannus Lake - leave a car there and drive back to the Glenroy Mannus road for the start of the walk

From that point you turn south onto Mannus Bridge Road and continue past Jacksons Road on your left and then turn left on to Mannus Lake road

The camping ground is located 5Km along Mannus Lake Road. The road into the camping ground is a 5km gravel road that can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan. - more information here

Sunday walkers to meet at Mannus Lake Campsite for the 18km section to Henry Angel Track head 9:30 am. A 25km car shuffle there via Tumbarumba and 25km back is required before we head off walking - http://tinyurl.com/nxfko53
