Event Report: This is a walk I love to do every spring for the wildflower display - completed first in 2011 with Hans Kaspers and repeated several times since. I had intended to camp the night before but the campground has a booking system now and we left it too late. We met at Harvey Norman Borella road albury and travelled in convoy to SB campground. We headed off about 10-30 and wandering along with lots of stops and diversions for floa appreciation. Lunch was at the creek about 5km from the start after a big descent on a vague walking track. Anticipating some thunderstorm activity on the return leg and we were not disappointed! Lots of photos were taken including accumulated hail stones - 5 species of orchids found en route A wonderful walk as always and will be back in 2023 Click here for event description Facebook post by Jenny Wren |
