Meeting 10 am at Yenches Rd.( numerous letterboxes) Lankey's Creek

12 km grade 3 walk

...From Wodonga to Yenches Rd (with numerous letterboxes) is 1hr 10mins and the meeting time will be between 10am to 10:15am to allow for Tumut Club members to arrive. We can park cars there and then travel in a minimum number of cars by sharing. This will reduce the amount of vehicles kicking up dust. It is then a 15 minute (6km) drive to the start of Millers Fire Trail where we park the cars and walk from there. This is an easy walk, however if anyone who may have an issue with their feet are still welcome to come as a vehicle can be driven to the mine & chimney. This alleviates the concern of not being able to do the walk and turning back prematurely. We will have lunch in the area, then return to the cars.

GRADE 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.
