Baranduda Range Short Evening Walk Grade 2 Bonfire and BBQ
Hello Members.
Seems like a good time for a short 30 min evening walk followed by a bbq at the saddle that overlooks the Leneva and Kiewa valleys - and of course the thriving metropolis of Baranduda
We will meet and start the walk from Margaret Drive (click on the location to see a google map). We enter the range from MargaretCourt drive and walk up a beautiful switch backing trail to the BBQ location. Total distance about 2km with about 75m elevation gain.

Grade 2 walk
- Current Medical Information Form FOUND ON THE WEBSITE HERE
- Water - or wine
- Gloves and hat/beenie
- Sufficient food to cook on the hot coals
- Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable
- Wet weather waterproofs, jacket and pants - if it rains ill probably stay home
- Walking poles
- Gaiters
- Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator
- Torch or headlamp
On site we will have
Large plastic sheet, Griddle BBQ frame, Billy to boil water, basic utensils,
bring your own chairs, food and beverage you may wish to consume.
Personal cuttlery, glasses, cups and water for coffee tea etc.
It could get cold therefore bring warm coat. etc..
