Easy Abseiling - Albury Quarry

We start with  an 8 metre Abseil to make sure that you have your Abseiling technequie right and are feeling confident.

This is a flat rock wall with an easy walk from the bottom to the top and takes about 1 minute.

Then we move on to the 16 metre Abseil for a bit more excitment.

The walk from the bottom to the top is easy and takes about 2 minutes.

The session runs for approximatly 2 & 1/2 - 3 & 1/2 hours depending on the group numbers.

We meet at the walking track at the end of Riverview Terrace. Riverview Terrace is accessed from the Riverina Highway - google map here

Cost $95.00 per person for club members and $125.00 per person for non club members which includes insurance cover.

Cash payment is required on the day.

Included:

1. Abseil and Saftey instruction.
2. Abseiling equipment. Bring your own gloves for health reasons.

Bookings ESSENTIAL.

Abseilers need to bring:

1. A hat, sunsmart clothing and sunscrean.
2. Drinking water. (2 liters)
3. Snacks.
4. Hiking boots or runners.
5. Gloves. eg leather gardening gloves.

Important Information:

Alcohol or illicit drugs are not to be consumed while you are participating in MVB Abseiler activities and you cannot participate in abseiling activities with the MVB Abseilers if you are affected by illicit drugs or alcohol consumed prior to the commencement of this activity.

A minimum age of 12 years old is required to participate in our Easy Abseiling activities.

All participants are required to fill out a Personal Informatiom and Health Form.

Guests are required to fill out the Acknowlegment of Risk Form which will appear when booking this event.

Participants under 18 years old are required to have a Personal Information and Health Form and a Consent Form filled out and signed by their parent or legal guardian.

This can be filled out on the day or obtained from Neil on request.
