Have spoken to Vic COVID Hotline 22.10.2021, and been advised that as long as a person has NOT been in a Red or Orange zone in the last 14 days, and currently live within the Border Bubble, the following is required. A person must carry photo identification on them, wear a mask, unless they are exercising, or has a valid exemption, and there can be no more than 20 people gathering in Public
Based on this information the following walk is proposed.
Meet at 8.30am at Belvoir Dog Park, Reuss St Wodonga. We'll walk around Sumsions Garden then back along the stock route, along the Hume Freeway toward the disused railway bridges and alongside the new railway line. From there we continue to Harris Road, back toward the Albury/Wodonga bike path. Passing Gypsy Gardens and along stock route again toward Belvoir Park.
An easy lovely walk, mostly on rough road and dirt roads, with intermittent sealed paths. We walk through tree lined roads which makes up for the noise of the freeway close by.
Dogs are welcome, however there will be certain sections where they will need to be on lead
Of course, we will have coffee and cake somewhere appropriate if members so desire.
GRADE 2
No bushwalking experience required. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.
