Due to COVID-19 health requirements, members must provide their own sanitisers, gloves, wipes, masks, etc. If car pooling is required please contact the event co-ordinator.
Normal social distancing rules will apply. If 1.5m cannot be maintained then a mask needs to be worn; particularly if car pooling is used. MEMBERS NEED TO BE AWARE OF AND ABIDE bY ANY BORDER CROSSING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS.
A good Albury walk that will take in parts of Hovell Tree Park, Padman/Mates Park, Monument Hill, Nail Can Hill (Farrar Trail, Tree Frog Trail, Tim's Trail), Boynton Park, Patricia Gould Trail, Kremur St track and the Murray River Trail.
The walk is mostly flat but has 2 short ascents from the river to the Monument. Height gain of about 100m.
Meet at Hovell Tree located next to the Albury swimming pool carpark at 8am. The walk will start and finish there.
Bring hat, water and a morning tea snack. Coffee and cake afterwards.
Dogs OK. Toilets available at Monument Hill, West Albury oval, Kremur St boatramp and Hovell Tree Park.

GRADE 2
No bushwalking experience required. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.
GRADE 3
Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.
