Tuesday morning walk - Hume & Hovell Pt 2: 10 km grade 2

Please abide by any current NSW or Vic Covid-19 requirements.

Meet at the corner of the Riverina Hwy and Mungabareena Rd, Albury. Parking available on the grass adjacent the Rd. There will carshuffling to the Kinross Woolshed.

About a 9km walk; mostly bush tracks to the Kinross Woolshed.

Toilets may be available at Ernest Grant Park, Thurgoona; Thurgoona Plaza  and at the Kinross Woolshed.

dogs OK  but remember this is a car pooling event so please respect the cars of fellow walkers.

Bring a morning tea snack. Coffee and cake at Thurgoona.

GRADE 2

No bushwalking experience required. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.

GRADE 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.

Day Walking

• Current Medical Information Form FOUND ON THE WEBSITE HERE
• Water - up to 2 litres recommended for a full day walk
• Sunscreen
• Gloves and hat
• Sufficient food bearing in mind the distance and duration of the event 
• Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable
• Wet weather waterproofs, jacket and pants
• Walking poles
• Gaiters
• Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator
• Torch or headlamp for contingencies
