A social event involving a visit to Baileys winery. We will be able to walk around the historic grounds and view the well preserved links to its past, including the original 1870 winery, stables, blacksmiths forge and other buidlings as well as meander around the expansive native gardens. We will enjoy a wine tasting at the heritage listed cellar door and learn of the traditional approach to their winemaking. The entire vineyard is managed organically and is well known for its reds and fortifieds.
The Bundarra Organic kitchen serves authentic woodfired pizzas and fare.
For those that wish to extend their day the granite rich Warby Ranges and the picturesque Winton Wetlands are close by.
We will meet at the Gateway Village carpark at 9am for car pooling.
Those that wish to meet at the winery we will see you there at 10.15am. Please let me know if you will be doing this!
Capped at 12 participants.
GRADE 1: No bushwalking experience required
As we may be sitting outside at the winery suggest to wear warm clothing and bring a raincoat or umbrella for walking.
