Otway Fly - Otway Lighthouse- Stevenson Falls

Hi All 

 Another few days with a difference over the Anzac Day long weekend.

  The Otway Fly, a must do event for April 2016.

The cost of the Tree Top Adventure is $25.00 per person - pay on the day ( unless you want to go on the Fly then login and book on line )

  If you drive down Saturday Morning leaving Alb/Wod  about 7:00 am or so. Please Call Me First

Easiest way is Freeway to Geelong then Princess Highway to Colac, about 470km and a bit over 5 hours.  then down to the Otway Fly, another 45km  for an hour.

  I am going down Firday morning and set up car camp at Stevenson Falls. (Stevenson Falls Reserve to Otway Tree Top Adventures - 50km 1 hour )

As this is the Anzac Weekend - and sites may be hard to get, we decided to make Stevenson Falls Reserve our Base Camp for he weekend

There are other options for camping as well -  We will have hot shower thanks to Trevor -  

The Walk

Is a gradual  500mt walk downhill from the Visitor Centre;

The Treetop Walk is 600mt long and 30mt off the forest floor;

At the pinnacle of the walkway, the spiral tower, you will be 47mt above the forest floor;

Then a 600mt walk back up to the Visitor Centre;

Features the Treefern Track and Merv’s Lookout where you can view the Zipline Activity;

Take your time and enjoy all the forest has to offer;

There is a shuttle service that operates every half hour on the half hour that can bring you back to the Visitor Centre

After the Tree TopAdventure  -  Drive to Cape Otway  Lighthouse for some exploring..

Sunday and Monday explore the Great Ocean Walk.  Blanket Bay ..

A leisurely drive home..  550km via Great Ocean Road and 7 plus hours, depending on sightseeing etc..
