Barny Backwater paddle

Howlong to Rutherglen Backwater paddle

Total stream length is 17km -  3 to 4 hours paddling.
Streams we will be exploring apart from the Murray are:

• Snarts Creek
• Little River
• Murphys Creek
• Carrolls Creek

The trip is not for beginners due to it's duration and river hazards such as the numerous snags and willows and fast currents most likely to be experienced. Single canoes/kayaks/sit ons only will be allowed.

Canoe hire (single sit ons) will be available for hire from the Canoe Guy for $35.

If you prefer to bring your own (incl safety vest) then please advise. Cost will be $5 for transport.
