Walking the Ridges
A day walk along the ridges in Chiltern Mt Pilot NP (Chiltern section). Great views, interesting vegetation (see how the forest is recovering from the Barnawartha fire), a plane crash site... A few ups, balanced by a few downs. Partly on 4wd tracks, partly cross-country. Distance about 10km. Meet at the Chiltern-Beechworth Rd off-ramp on the Hume at 9.30am
