Beginner Snowshoeing / Cross Country ski

The club has received funds to encourage members to give winter sports in the mountains a try. After the successful first day on Aug 11  here is a second opportunity to try snowshoeing or cross country skiing at Falls Creek at bargain basement price. This will be a day trip to Windy Corner at Falls Creek from where we can hire equipment if required and take a leisurely stroll to the Nordic Bowl (about 750m gently uphill). If you can walk you can safely ski or snowshoe and you will be surprised how quickly you get warm. Appropriate clothing required of course - contact Tony for more information.
