Tawonga Huts, Mt Jaithmathang, Tawonga Huts Circuit

This is a Reci walk for me.

Departing from the Baranduda Scout Hall on the Kiewa Valley Highway at Baranduda at 8.00am with a coffee stop at Mt. Beauty on the way to Falls Creek.

The walk starts at the Pretty Valley Pondage and heads along the Fainter Fire Track to the Tawonga Huts, approx 3kms. From there we take the walking track to Mt Jaithmathang, approx 2kms. Heading off track we walk along the Jaithmathangs, lunch somewhere along this section, to Little Plain and meet up with the Walking Track, approx 3kms and then head back to the Tawonga Huts, approx 3kms. From Tawonga Huts we return along the Fainter Fire Track to Pretty Valley Pondage, approx 3kms. Approx 14kms all up.
