Wilderness Snow Tour - XCSki Grade 4

With a large snow dump predicted for this week the opportunity for a wilderness tour has arisen.  I am placing this notice as an expression of interest as a final destination has not been decided. A final decision on the conditions and safety will need to be made the day before.  If you have ever wanted to try snow camping and you have the appropriate equipment or are keen to meet the elements at its best then please contact David Findlay for a discussion on 0447 526 916. Snow shoes would be OK, however the ability to ski with a pack should be noted along with sound navigation skills.

  

It would be best to leave by lunch time Friday with the objective to return by Sunday evening.  We are looking at a mountain outside the traditional Falls Creek, Mount Hotham area and significant time may be required in travel.
