We have two utes set up for long haul travel, fuel, food, recovery equipment and everything else which will support two motorbike riders through the desert country. The idea is to drive to Maree and then bikes off to ride the dirt roads to Birdsville, the desert and round trip along the QAA line up the Hay River Track to Madigan Line, Old Andado, Mount Dare, Hamilton, Oodnadatta, William Creek, return to Maree and then Corowa.

The trip should take approximately 12 days covering about 700km a day on the hard road, 200 - 300km a day on the dirt roads and 150km a day across the sand dunes. This is subject to road conditions.

We will leave and return from Corowa NSW on Saturday 7th July with an expected return by Saturday 21st July. There are five seats available if anyone is interested in joining us for a shared expense trip. This will be living rough with limited or no facilities so if this is not your style then please consider carefully. The vehicles are both manual and driving is expected to be shared. For those who have limited experience in 4WD do not be put off, if you are interested then you will be much more experienced by the time you get back.

For those who are interested in self-drive tag along then you are also welcome to contact us.
