We will meet at Samuel Bollard campground a short distance from the Tunnel Gap road at 9am on the Sunday morning. Those wishing may join me camping here on Sat evening before the walk on Sunday morning.

Getting there and parking Samual Bollard campground is in the western section of Woomargama National Park. To get there from Albury: Travel north on Hume Highway Take the Woomargama exit Turn right into Tunnel Road and travel about 10km to the park entrance Turn left onto Tin Mines trail and travel about 2km. On the left is South Creek trail and about 200m up the trail is the campground

We will have organised a vehicle to be available at the finish on Wymah Road to transport us back to the start

When registering indicate if you wish to join us for the Sat overnight at Samuel Bollard campground

Car pooling -  meet at Harvey Norman car park Unit 7/94 Borella Rd, Albury NSW 2640 at 8am

GRADE 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.

What to Bring for Day Walking

  • Current Medical Information Form FOUND ON THE WEBSITE HERE
  • Water - up to 2 litres recommended for a full day walk
  • Sunscreen
  • Gloves and hat
  • Sufficient food bearing in mind the distance and duration of the event 
  • Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable
  • Wet weather waterproofs, jacket and pants
  • Walking poles
  • Gaiters
  • Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator
  • Torch or headlamp for contingencies
