"Ride Description Victoria’s 7 Peaks Ride is an at-your-own pace cycling challenge open to participate in from late October to April. 

Taking you up winding mountain roads, around steep turns and past spectacular views right to the top of seven Victorian Alpine Resorts. 
By registering via the 7 Peaks app and completing at least one peak you will go in the draw to win a European cycling holiday.
Short and steep. When you reach the village at the top, the feeling of satisfaction is second only to the views, which are breathtaking.
Distance 6.5km, Rise 741m, Grade Average 11.4%, Grade Max 20.6% 
Start at The Gantry, Mt Baw Baw Tourist Road 
Finish at Mt Baw Baw Village Entry Gates, Mt Baw Baw Tourist Road Water Village Restaurant (check opening hours) 
Indoor shelter and toilets in the village Mobile coverage Good for Telstra and Optus, some blackspots

GRADE 5 – prolonged steep grades like Mt Buffalo and Falls Creek.

For single half day or full day cycling events consider bringing a current medical information form. Puncture repair kit including pump Water bottles  Sunscreen Helmet Gloves Sufficient food and water bearing in mind the distance, duration, and workloads of the event Suitable clothing and footwear Wet weather waterproofs Basic tools for bicycle maintenance Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator Torch or headlamp for contingencies

Registrations and reversals are best made early and may close a few days (or even weeks) before an event, in this case the week before.
