Due to COVID-19 health requirements, members must provide their own sanitisers, gloves, wipes, masks, etc.  If car pooling/shuffling is required please contact the event co-ordinator.

Please abide by any state COVID-19 regulations or recommendations.

This is a car shuffling event.

We will meet in the carpark on the NSW side of Bethanga Bridge at 9am.

We leave a car or two at Bethanga Bay in Vic and head to the Kurrajong Gap lookout, which is on the road to Bethanga.

Firstly we do a short hike (150m) up to the lookout. This is the only steep part of today's walk (grade 3). Fantastic views looking back to Albury and Wodonga over a very full Lake Hume. Those not wanting the grade 3 hike can wait at the main lookout for the others to return.

We then have a 1km walk in the nearby Bethanga Historic Area before a 3km walk into the old town.

We'll have our coffee and cake early today at the Bethanga General Store before our next 3km walk down to the bay on Lake Hume.

Bring hat, water etc  DOGS ok.

Toilets are available at Bellbridge, Bethanga, Bethanga Bay and Hume Dam.

For any late cancellation please contact me on 0456 100 183.

No bushwalking experience required. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.
