Be aware of any current Govt Covid-19 rulings or provisions. Members must provide their own sanitisers, gloves, wipes, masks, etc.  If car pooling/shuffling is required please contact the event co-ordinator.

This is our last 9am start for this year; next week it will be 8.30am.

Meet at the southern end of the Lavington Coles carpark on Urana Rd, at 9am. From here we can arrange a car pool for the 30km trip to Burrumbuttock, NSW.

The Wirraminna Nature Reserve walks are all flat.  I will lead you around the 1.5km landcare walk then send everyone off on the self guided garden and wattle walks (about 1km and cannot get lost, except for 10%); guide brochures will be available.

NO DOGS ALLOWED.

Because there is no cafe in Burrumbuttock and the nature park has a good picnic area; I reckon a feast of home made goodies is on the programme. Let's all bring a plate (bring your own tea or coffee), and if you forget or can't manage, don't worry, there will be plenty to share.

Toilets are available at the picnic area within the nature reserve.

As the picnic area is near the carpark; there is no need to carry morning tea in your backpack.

After, we will do a gentle 3km walk up into the nearby Burrumbuttock Woodland.

Any late cancellations please call me on 0456 100 183.

GRADE 2

No bushwalking experience required. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.

GRADE 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.
