AAWT track from Dead Horse gap Tin Mine Huts and back, Grade 4, 55km

7 am  start from Wodonga. We need to get on the way on time, the drive is a bit over 3.5 hours, and the hike to the hut 4 to 5 hours. Capped on 8 hikers 

Day 1 : drive to Dead Horse gap and hike 8 km to Cascade hut for the night.

 Day 2 :17 km to Tin Mine Huts for the night  

Day 3 : We retrace our steps back to cascades Hut for the night. Don't worry, it will lock different coming from the other way.

Day 4: back to the cars 8km.

  Water is available from the creek on all stops, bring tablets or water filter.  

  GRADE 4 Bushwalking experience recommended. Tracks may be long, rough and very steep. Essentials Tooth Brush and paste Any medication ( please inform leader if necessary Allergies etc) Personal first aid  Water to drink and prepare meal ( some locations and walks have water on site or en route ) Leader should inform the group re water supply Tablets for water ( be safe rather than get a bug ) ( water purification tablets ) Toilet paper and trowl to dig appropiate hole. Food Dehydrated food for weight considerations 3 Meals , plus snacks.  per day.   Stove (another item that can be shared)  Plate and cuttlery  Cup for warm drink  your choice EXTRA ITEMS Fully charged and credit loaded up phone Camera THE LEADER MUST TAKE A RESCUE BEACON The club has 1 Personal Locator Beacon and 1 emergency SPOT device and 3 First Aid Kits
