Ross Lookout, Burrowa-Pine Mountain NP Grade 4 Day walk
We will follow the Lookouts walking Track which departs from Bluff Falls at Cudgewa North. The track initially climbs up to the smaller Top Falls where Bluff Creek cascades into a narrow, wet gully. The track rises again to Campbells Lookout, a rocky escarpment that overlooks the steep cliffs and stone-covered slopes of Cudgewa Bluff.
The track to Ross Lookout continues on up a broad ridge through Wild Cherry trees and Black Cyprus pines. It offers excellent views from numerous vantage points.
Do not be deceived by the short distance. Most of the track is steep , rocky and winds around in the bush and near the waterfall. Wear good supportive bushwalking shoes and be prepared to carefully take your time
Distance 7-8kms 4-5 hours return
If it is raining or there has been heavy rainfalls recently we will offer an alternative because the track can become too slippery
