Wildhorse Creek - Cancelled due to weather

Hi All

Join in for a weekend backpack to Wild Horse Creek - about 12km east of the High Plain Road

Start from the road - take the Heathy Spur track up to the Fire Trail, head east past Kelly's Hut for lunch, then track 107 to camp site.

Sunday we retrace our steps with lunch at Fitzgeral Hut. instead of Kelly's

As its getting closer to the snow season - we migh expect some white stuff.

WE WILL BE PREPARED ( I Hope )

The route is on the high plains - no steep mountains and no walking along dangerous edges. 

I will be carrying HF radio equipment and Antenna

At our destination I intend to set up my radio station and try to contact other Radio Amateurs.

I do use headphones so as not to annoy others in the party too much.
