Day walk to the summit of Mt Feathertop and return - the easiest way! - 11km return, 540m climb, guaranteed no crowds. We drive to the top of the North Razorback from Freeburgh (4wds or SUVs ok - I've done it on a mountainbike), then walk along the North Razorback Ridge to the summit. Fantastic views of course on top. Meet in Bright 9.00am. Limit 12 people. NOTE this walk has been moved to SUNDAY MAY 8th - all other details as before. NOTE #2 -Now put to SUNDAY MAY 22 due to heavy rain expected on the 8th! If not then, it'll have to be next Spring! THIS WALK WILL GO AHEAD ON 22/5 - road( at least at the bottom) is OK. Meet at the 80kmh speed sign on the far side of Bright (Harrietville Rd) at 9-9.15am. I assume any AW people will organise their transport.
