Canoeing Safety and Technique Training - POSTPONED

Meet at Cumberoona Wharf 1pm or at Bowna Reserve 1-45pm. Come and try it! If you've been wanting to try canoeing but need some training and help in a still water environment, here is a great opportunity to give canoeing a try. This will be an opportunity for everyone including our canoe leaders to refresh or learn the clubs safety and recovery guidelines. Hire of canoes, paddles and personal flotation devices are supplied by Dave Breedon the Canoe Guy from Murray River Canoe Hire at a cost of $20 per person. The session will be over by 5pm after which we will have a byo bbq with byo salads to share. Bookings are needed to make the necessary transport and hire arrangements. Please check the club's Canoeing Policy to ensure compliance with our safety regulations.
