Galore Hill has views over the Murrumbidgee Valley to the North, to The Rock to the East, and almost as far as the Victorian Alps to the South. We will walk a loop, mostly avoiding the road to the picnic ground at the summit. Interesting rock formations (similar to The Rock and Tabletop), including some shallow caves used by the bushranger Mad Dan Morgan in the 1860s. Many rare orchids may be out!

We will meet in Lockhart at 10am ( allow 75-90 minutes drive (105km) from AW) and drive to the Reserve 15km North. There may be time to visit some of the many bush sculptures around Lockhart on the way home. Meeting place will be at the Western end of the main shopping street, opposite the caravan park.
