Pretty Plain Hut, grade 4, approx. 43km
Depart Corryong at 7.30 am sharp, location TBA
Or meet 8.30 am at Dargals trail head
Day 1:Depart Corryong at 7.30 am and drive to the Dargals trail track head. We walk 10.6 km to the Tooma River. After crossing the River we will eat and fill up our water. We musty carry extra Water because there will be none that night and morning.
From the River to the Hut is approx 16 km So, we continue uphill along Dargals trail (Broadway) some 4 km till we find a suitable campside. (no water) The distance to a campsite will depend on how we feel.
Day 2: Continue along Dargals trail some 12 km and turn left into strumbo track for about 3 km to the creek and then it's off track to Pretty Plain Hut. We get rewarded with a huge Hut and a freezing creek.
Day 3, 16.4km, includes 6.2 km through open plain with no track all the way to the Hellhole Track. From there up the hill to Dargals trail across the river and back to the Cars.
What to bring:
Shoes for the River crossing, it could be waist deep.
Water bladders to carry extra water for the dry camp.

- Leader should inform the group re water supply
- Tablets for water ( be safe rather than get a bug ) ( water purification tablets )
- Toilet paper and trowel to dig appropriate hole.

- 3 Meals , plus snacks. per day.
